An evening of improvisation at Berlin’s cult venue Miss Hecker with Frank Paul Schubert, Uygur Vural and Rudi Fischerlehner on Sunday, April 26. Music starts at 20.30.
Korhan Erel and Uygur Vural are both players in the Istanbul free improvisation scene. Their first concert together in Berlin was again at Miss Hecker.
Rudi Fischerlehner and Frank Paul Schubert have a duo together and share studio space.
Korhan and Frank were at the same New Year’s Eve party in 2015 and bellydanced to Turkish gypsy music together.
Rudi and Korhan do a lot of sessions together and have recently lauched an audiovisual project.
Uygur hasn’t met Rudi or Frank yet, but they’re all nice people and they’ll definitely like each other.
For those who care for nationalities for demographic, orientalistic or exotic reasons, Frank Paul Schubert is from Germany. Rudi Fischerlehner is Austrian. Korhan and Uygur are from Turkey. But this has nothing to do with the music, so don’t worry much about it. Miss Hecker is a Germanojapanese venue. Totally irrelevant piece of information. What’s really, really important is that they have very good whiskey and the place has a wonderful vibe.
