Towards the end of 2024, pianist Neslihan Schmidt and electronics player Korhan Erel began their musical journey. They aim to develop a repertoire of structured improvisations. They also plan to create ‘covers’ of contemporary pieces on prepared piano and electronics. Their big goal for the near future is to secure funding for commissioning pieces for piano and electronics.
They played their debut concert at Berlin’s Galiläakirche on 10 June 2025. The videos below are short snippets from this concert.
