At the end of 2024, the electroacoustic music duo Lâkin, consisting of pianist Neslihan Schmidt and electronics player Korhan Erel, began their musical journey. Their goal is to develop a repertoire of compositions and structured improvisations.

They played their debut concert at Berlin’s Galiläakirche on June 10, 2025. The videos below are short snippets from that concert.

For their concert on October 9, 2026, Lâkin will commission pieces by Gudrun Gut, Jessie Marino, and Grgur Savic, with the kind support of initiative neue musik berlin.
