First two concerts on 2016

DSC_0948 - Version 2Korhan Erel will play only two concerts in January 2016, both of which will be in Berlin. The first one will be a celebration of the anniversary of cellist friend Uygur Vural’s first concert in Berlin at Miss Hecker. Besides Korhan, Uygur has invited violinist Biliana Voutchkova and clarinetist Michael Thieke, who was in the line up of the original concert with Korhan. The concert will be at Miss Hecker on January 9, 2016, exactly one year after the original concert. There will be some snacks too!

The second concert will be with guitarist Eric Wong in the Experimontag series at Madame Claude on January 11. This will be the first live meeting of two musicians. Two more concerts are already planned.

Korhan Erel is an electronic musician, improviser and sound designer based in Berlin. Their music covers free improvisation, conceptual sound performances as well as structured and composed pieces as well as music for dance, theater and video art. They perform solo, duo and group performances with improvisers, jazz musicians, dancers, and in orchestras. They have shown several sound installations in art spaces in Turkey, Germany and Hong Kong. They have ten CD and several digital releases. They play concerts across Europe, Middle- East, Southeast Asia and North America
