Concerts in June in Berlin and Istanbul

I have two concerts in June, both with composer and electronics performer Eda Er. Eda and I have started collaborating in 2021 with support from Goethe Institut’s Virtual Partnership Residency program. Together we created the audiovisual work “Obwegeser Instruments” inspired by musician, composer and poet Şevket Akıncı‘s poetry.

Our first concert will be on June 9 at purespace.ist in Istanbul. This will actually be our first-ever concert. We will both play electronics.

The next concert with Eda will be on June 25 with the improvising quartet “To Er is Human” at Berlin School of Sound. The two other musicians are Alessandra Eramo, who is my bandmate in Böseblick, and Jeremy Woodruff, the founder of Berlin School of Sound. This will be my first-ever concert with Jeremy.
