Lâkin plays Gudrun Gut, Jessie Marino, Grgur Savic

Piano-Electronics Duo Lâkin was founded by pianist Neslihan Schmidt and electronics player and composer Korhan Erel in late 2025 to explore improvisational and compositional possibilities of the combination of a prepared piano and electronics. After an intense period of rehearsals and occasional concerts, Lâkin was able to commission compositions from the legendary Gudrun Gut – her first-ever commission – and the highly talented star of Berlin’s new music scene Jessie Marino. Lâkin will perform these two pieces as well as two graphic scores by Berlin’s experimental scene’s hyperactive member Grgur Savic at KM28 in Berlin on October 9. Doors open at 20:00 and concert begins at 20:30
